The Rotan Lot is a homegrown brand that aims to reclaim and refresh this old tradition.

Whatever we call it, this very durable and flexible material results to minimal material wastage and unlimited design possibility. In South East Asia, the usage of Rotan is so vast that it is a major contributor to poverty alleviation.
Rotan is an attractive resource because it is easier to harvest than timber, easier to transport and grows faster than trees which makes it a great alternative to logging timber in areas where where forests are scarce.
Rotan has nostalgic effect. Many people grew up with memories of Rotan furnitures. With proper care, Rotan would age gracefully with various individual looks.
